Notes
a. Note:   sachusetts. Researcher T.B. Wyman, in the classic Hunt genealogy published in 1862, did not name the parentage of Edward of Amesbury, presumably because hard evidence of his parentage does not exist. In the alternative, Wyman chose to establish a separate genealogy of Hunts beginning with Edward of Amesbury, which he labeled 'The Amesbury Line.' The recent NEHGS Great Migration project casts does not suggest Edward of Amesbury was related to Edmund of Duxbury. See notes under Edmund of Duxbury.
Note:   Early fires destroyed the town records of both Duxbury and Amesbury, Mas
