Note: Rockdale Reporter, Thur., 20 Jul 2000 Nink Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Joe R. Nink, 70. He was reported missing Saturday, July 8, 2000 and found on his farm near Rockdale Friday, July 14, 2000. He had been a resident of Rockdale for the past 35 years. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Mr. Nink was born August 22, 1929 in Bastrop County to Edward Nink and Ella Steinbach. He was an electrician for Alcoa retiring in 1994 after 30 years of service. Mr. Nink and Betty Bingham were married in 1951 at Pin Oak Church in Bastrop County. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and gardening and he loved spending time with his family and his dog ?Spuds.? Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Edith Elaine Nink on June 20, 1985. Survivors include: Wife, Betty Nink of Rockdale; two sons, John Raymond Nink of Smithville, and James Randall Nink and wife, Rebecca of Rockdale; two daughters, Phyllis Lynne Kleinschmidt and husband, Tom of Lexington, and Leslie Marie Chudej and husband, Allen of Rockdale; four brothers, Milburn Nink, Henry Nink and Carl Nink, all of Smithville, and Edward Nink of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Dorothy Mikulec of Smithville, and Elenora Porter of Austin; nine grandchildren: Tara Nink, Jacob Nink, Vanessa Nink, Joseph Nink, Jonathan Nink, Ashton Chudej, Kelsey Chudej, Kane Kleinschmidt, Ethan Klein-schmidt; five step-grandchildren: Trent Northern, Monty Northern, Jamie Northern, Emily Northern, Coy Chudej. www.findagrave.com Memorial # 52176745
