Continued: He left his wife and children with her family and went back to Cobb County, Georgia to look for work but took sick and died. He is assumed to be buried in Cobb County but the specific location is not known. The only known document to list his given name is the 1870 census which reads "Asberry". It may have been incorrectly transcribed. His name may have been Asbury or even Aubrey. His brother is said to have named a son "Aubrey Asberry Blaylock". I have not yet found confirmation of that. This child was born more than ten years after Asberry died.
