 to carry on merchantile business. Defaulted on note, March 31, 1892
 got deed to property. BkG, p 269 shore house and lot, Block 7,
 fronting Kemper St., 25x 90' in Scooba. Bk I, p 368, Nov 11, 1895.
 W. T. Cole to James McDonald for $299., highest bidder on land .
 The 1900 census (Kemper Co. Miss. Family #47 , named listed in error as John) states that they had been married two years. Daughter, Effie
 was born in Nov. 1898; daughter, Elva, in Dec. 1899, and James died of
 heart attack in March 1901, age 33.
