Robert McKee was born about 1738 in Ireland and died on 16 Oct 1800on Timber Ridge, Frederick County, Va. It is most probable that Susannah is thesecond wife of Richard Dalbey. Susannah Dalbey McKee's will was drawn on 6April 1801, with the assistance of Benjamin McDonald wherein she asked thatJonathan Lovett and William Garret "lay off her dower." Dower is a legal termwhich means the portion of a deceased husbands real property allowed by thelaw to his widow for her life. The McKee family, W. Va advocate 1983 CacaponBridge, W. Va.
