!HISTORY: Ogden First Ward Records, FHL Film No. 002063, indicate a certificate
of recommendation for Martha was received 20 Mar 1892 from West Weber, Utah and
that she moved to Franklin. Her obituary said she was a resident of Franklin,
Idaho for 50 years, died at the home of her daughter, Almeda Gardner, at
Coalville, Utah, after a long illness, and that she was active in church work
and served as president of Franklin Relief Society for many years. Funeral
services were in the Franklin Ward Chapel.
!HISTORY: The obituary for Martha's brother (Alexander) says she was living in
Franklin when he died (17 Aug 1941).
!NOTE: Martha's middle name "Matilda" comes from Franklin Ward Records. I have
not found it listed in any of my copies of family records.
