This is consistent with his age of 25 at time of marriage. Jul 1776. Montr�al baptism record has a Guillaume baptized Jul 1776. It seems to indicate that this Guillaume was b. 1776 and would have been age 13 in 1790 at time of marriage to Angelique Hardy; but the marriage record indicates Guillaume�s age as 25 (or b. ca 1765). This seems like too great a discrepancy. I believe that the 1776 record was a confirmation rather than a baptism which would make the ages work. Other possibilities: perhaps this Guillaume has an older brother also named Guillaume (perhaps with a different middle name) who is spouse of Angelique? Perhaps I have the incorrect baptism record?
