a. Note:   Obituary appearing in Sunday, December 23, 2007 Morgantown, West Virginia Domion Post: John W. "Bill" Eisentrout, 76, of West Fifth Street, Westover, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Selbysport, MD, a son of the late John William and Martha Helen Nedrow Eisentrout. Bill retired from the Morgantown Post Office and was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War and the National Rifle Association. He was an active member of the Westover Lions Club, Sagebrush Roundup at Bunner's Ridge, and was instrumental in constructing the Westover City Building. He also loved the balloon festival and would always ride in the "chase vehicle" to assist the ballonist when landing. Bill is survived by his wife, Donna McCoy Eisentrout; two daughter, Virginia Cosner, of Westover, and Sylvia Webber and husband, Chris, of Westover; a son, John W. Eisentrout, of Morgantown; two brothers, clarence Eisentrout and wife, Edith, of Morgantown, and Edward Eisentrout and wife, Marilyn, of Kingwood; three sisters, Edna Sebold, of McHenry, MD, Helen Emogene Fisher and husband, Ray, of Pittsburgh, PA, Virginia Boone and husband, James, of Morgantown; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Donna Jean Scott Eisentrout, in 2001; a brother, James Wendel Eisentrout; and two sisters, Erma Jean Eisenttrout and Martha Friend. Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23 at McCulla Funeral Home with pastor Betty McBee officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery with graveside military honors provided by the Wetover VFW Post 9916.
