Notes
a. Note:   Was Mary Ann the person who married someone from Indiana ? In 1952 on the way back from Mary and Bob Shepard's wedding, Daddy had us stop somewhere in Indiana where we met two ladies whom I think he said were cousins. If so, they could have been daughters of Mary Ann and her husband. I can remember the visit, but not any names or towns. And now there is no one to ask! Warning , write things down!
Name was spelled Marian in the 1860 census, done in July of 1860, her age was listed as 16. In 1870 census she is listed as age 24 which is probably rightand she is listed only as Mary.
Mary Ann may have also died in the 1870's, as she is not in the 1880 census with James Albert, or with Rebecca. In the 1900 census listing for Rebecca Kellogg Anway she states she has only one child living of the two she was the mother for.
