Note: N2 John Codner came to Jamaica around 1771 from Dartmouth, England. Codner owned about 193 slaves from 1817 to 1832. From 1823-1829 Margaret Codner owned about 5 slaves. In 1832 Mary M. Codner owned 2 slaves. In 1829 Frances Codner owned 15 slaves. In 1832 Rebecca Codner owned 4 slaves. All the above were residing in St Ann, Jamaica.
