Note: * Notes for Conrad Winans: Conrad/Conradus and Sarah resided in Rahway, N.J. after their marriage, on 4 acres of land located near Rahway River and old Country Rd. (later named St. George's Ave.) which on 16 March 1724/5 they quit claim to Samuel Brant. An old deed notes a farm graveyard near the 4 acres. It was thought that Conrad was buried there. On 19 Feb 1727/8 an inventory of Conrad's estate amounting to 69 pounds 5 shillings, was made by Samuel Brant and William Winans. Samuel was related to Conrad by marriage and William was Conrad's nephew, son of his brother John2. On 23 Oct 1732, Daniel Lane, thought to be related to Conrad thru marriage, was appointed administrator of Conrad's estate. Among other charges due him in this final accounting, Lane asks payment for "maintaining Jemima, the deceased's youngest daughter, for one year and seven months and for her funeral charges; maintaining Susanna, one of Conrad's daughters for 4 yr. and for her nursing and funeral charges; for maintaining William one of Conrad's sons, 4 yr. and 3 mo. and for schooling these children" * Ancestors of Minerva Jane French
