Beloit - Judith Mae Cox, age 75, of 1905 Cottage Ave., Beloit, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Sun., April 28, 2002, at Meadow Park Health Care Center, Clinton. She was born on April 17, 1927, in Edgerton, the daughter of William and Anna Moe Zinn. Judith married Howard Joseph Cox on April 20, 1946, in Evansville. She was a loving mother and homemaker. Judith was a faithful member of the New Hope Methodist Church, Beloit, where she sang in the choir and served many of its committees for years. Judith is survived by her husband, Howard of Beloit; 6 children: David (Barbara) Cox of Elkhorn, Daniel (Paula) Cox of Adairsville, GA, Ted (Jan) Cox of Edgerton, Kathleen (Dan) Taylor of Faribault, MN, Tim Cox of Janesville, and Carol (Scott) Schwicktenberg of Orfordville; 10 grandchildren: Chris, Jenny, James, Bill, Mike, Kelley, Robbie, Tiffany, Amanda and Holly; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Burdick of Edgerton; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends. She was predeceased by her parents; a grandson, Dennis Cox; 4 sisters: Margaret Zinn, Ellen Haakensen, Barbara Sanger, and Esther Roenneberg; and a brother, Fred Zinn. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thurs., May 2, 2002, at the New Hope United Methodist Church, 2345 Prairie Ave., Beloit, with the Rev. Jo Bierer officiating. The family will greet friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the family home, 1905 Cottage Ave., Beloit. Memorials made to the Beloit Regional Hospice or to the New Hope United Methodist Church would be appreciated. Arrangements are being handled by the Hansen Funeral Home, 424 Prospect St., Beloit.
