Weldon Ingraham, of North Loup, Nebraska. died November 3, 1985, at the age of 62. He was born August 15, 1923, in North Loup, the son of John N. and Hazel (Van Horn) Ingraham. Mr. Ingraham was a farmer. With the exception of his service in the Philippines with the United States Army in 1946-1947, he was a farmer all his life. Although he worked at other jobs (for the North Loup Cheese factory, the Blevins Pop Corn Company, and with his uncle, Sheldon Van Horn, in a fertilizer business), farming was his first love. He was well respected by all as an honest and hard-working friend and neighbor. In July of 1985, he made profession of Jesus Christ as Savior through baptism, and joined the North Loup Seventh Day Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, two sons, Nolan Hatcher of Gibbon, Nebraska, and Eldon Ingraham of Holdrege, Nebraska, and by several grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. Ken Burdick, at the North Loup Seventh Day Baptist Church on November 5, 1985. Interment was at the cemetery at North Loup. KB
