(Zwolinski) Thomasgard, 50, of Marshfield, WI, a former Janesville resident, passed away Thursday evening, June 23, 2011, at the UW Hospital & Clinics in Madison. She was born Jan. 14, 1961, in Janesville, the daughter of the late Patrick J. & Sheila A. (Manogue) Zwolinski. Julie was a graduate of Parker High School, Class of 1979. On Oct. 11, 1980, she married Michael C. Thomasgard at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Janesville. Julie graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Madison General Hospital School of Nursing in 1982. She later received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Worcester State College in Massachusetts. She, then, received her Master of Arts from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. Julie loved photography, and enjoyed learning anything she could to sharpen her skills. She also very much enjoyed reading and cooking. She very much loved music, had a great appreciation for all styles and also the artists she enjoyed listening to. Julie is survived by her husband, Michael; her two sons, Ian and Colin Thomasgard, all of Marshfield, WI; her brother, Mark (Judie) Zwolinski; her four sisters: Eleanor (Larry) Martorano, Kelly (Clyde) Swoger, Tracy Slatter, and Patricia "Pinky" Zwolinski; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Private family services will be held at the Whitcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home, Janesville, with Fr. James Kuhn officiating. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
