a. Note:   ELKHART � Sally Fackert, 66, of Elkhart, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at her home.
 She was born May 9, 1945, in Elkhart to Gerald and Helen (Hege) Lambdin. On Jan. 20, 1968, in Elkhart, she married William "Bill" Fackert III. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2010, in Elkhart. Surviving are five cousins, Roger (Priscilla) Beaver of Osceola, Barbara (Richard) Bozza of Blue Jay, Calif., Michael (Sandra) Lambdin of Traverse City, Mich., Donald Lambdin of Eugene, Ore., and Sharon Stauffer of Mineola, Fla. Also surviving are her brother-in-law, James (Rhonda) Fackert of Brighton, Mich.; and her four beloved dogs, Willow, Doodle, Zip and Scooter. Sally loved training and riding horses and was horse show judge. She loved all kinds of animals, enjoyed traveling, and was a wine connoisseur and an accomplished artist and writer. She was a kind and giving person. Sally and Bill were members of the Tropical Magic Killifish Club and ran the Killifish show at Pierre Moran Mall in Elkhart for many years.
 Visitation for Sally will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. A procession will form at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home to leave for Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, where a graveside service will be held. Pastor Bob Vale of Osceola United Methodist Church will preside. Memorial contributions may be given to the World Wildlife Federation. To send an online condolence visit www.wmzfh.com.
