He moved to St. Louis (University City) MO and was a salesman for Celanese Corp. He founded Panyl Corp. to sell vinyl wall covering laminated to plywood and hardboard to the mobile home industry and moved to Elkhart in about 1960, to be closer to his customers. He was a track medalist at Princeton, and an exceptional tennis player. He played the game most of his life, and reveled in beating men half his age. Pack, Bill Fackert was born April 16, 1914, in Savannah, Ga. He has also lived in Glen Ridge, and in Montclair, N.J. He is the son of William E. Fackert and Madeleine Louise GrofF. His father is a broker, in the New York Stock Exchange. He has no brothers or sisters. He prepared at the Choate School, where he was on the Track Team, Literary Magazine Board, and a member of the Choir. At Princeton he majored in English. He was on the Track Team, numerals (1), letters (2) (3); participant in Oxford- Cambridge meet in England (2) ; Fencing Team, numerals ( 1 ) ; member Glee Club ; R.O.T.C. ; Dial Lodge. During Freshman year he roomed at 414 Witherspoon; Sopho- more, Junior and Senior years also at 414 Witherspoon, with L. P. Wenzell, Jr. Fackert is undecided as to his future occupation.
