Note: Tom was riding in a jeep in his best friend's front yard. Bill Baird was driving and turned too fast. The jeep turned over, Tom was killed, Bill broke both arms and never got over killing his best friend. Tom was 14 years and 9 months old. He had so much potential, was an Eagle Scout, and planned to really "make something of himself" as he said on several occasions.
