Note: per passenger record, He arrived in America on 8/25/1906. Was single and was born in Huddersfield, England. Departed from Liverpool, England. Per ship manifest he was 25 on arrival which would make his date of birth 1881. The manifest for this ship is not on line. The 1881 British Census states he was 2 at the time and his date of birth 1879. I believe the manifest is incorrect as a 5 and 3 can easily be mistaken. His address at the time of the 1881 census was 59 Halifax Old Road, Huddersfield, York, England. the 1901 census has him as 22 confirming birth date of 1879. He came over on the ship "Carmania". And his job while in England was listed as a Laudscafe Gardener Not Domestic
