He was employed as a foreman in a sugar factory. He did not speak English but could read and write Spanish. His wife, Rosa Pulliza de Falero, age 45, was born in Puerto Rico as were both of her parents. She was not employed, could read and write Spanish, but could not speak English. Their son, Pedro Falero Pulliza, was 15, born in Puerto Rico, was not attending school but could read and write and speak English. This family was living on Calle Ensanche in Pueblo Sud, Juncos, Puerto Rico. Information in the ships manifest states that Ezquiel was 75 years of age born 4 Feb 1863. This info does not match with the next ships manifest in 1940. However, in both manifests he is staying at the same address in NY, 920 Longwood Ave, Bronx, NY. Traveling with him is Juan Falero, age 30, born 22 Apr 1909, married, staying at same address.
