Note: T I M E L I N E 1837 -- BIRTH/BAPTISM: On 4 Mar 1837 in the parish of Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion de Juncos, Jose Severino, the legitimate son of Rafael Falero and Maria Ana Machin of Valenciano was baptized, having been born on 21 of the previous month. Godparents were Alexandro Lopez and Juana Reyes. 1844 Census -- Rafael Falero , age 50, is living in Valenciano Abajo. Married to Mariana Machin, age 45, they have the following children in the household: Estevan, 19, Juan, 17; Angel, 9; Jose, 7; Tomas, 5, Rafael, 1; Maria, 13; Carmen, 11; and ? (Ulifania), 3. Also in the household is Catalina Machin y ??, age 95. This is most likely Rafael's mother. Slaves enumerated with him are Ignacio, 30; Juan, 18; Diego, 25; Francisco, 30; Ramon, 3; Rufina, 29; Rocenda, 1. NOTE: There are scatterd records with no date in this film and this is one of them. 1866 -- DEATH: Funeral and burial for Dn. Ceferino Falero, age 30 occured on 10 May 1866 in the parish of Santa Maria de la Inmaculada Concepcion de Juncos. His death occurred the day before the the barrio of Valenciano Arriba, Juncos. He was a native of this parish but was residing in the barrio of San Lorenzo, Hato Grande at time of death. He was the legitimate son of Dn. Rafael (Falero), deceased, and of Da. Maria Ana Machin and was married to Da. Casilda Parrilla with whom he had children: Da. Juana de los Dolores, and Da. Maria de los Santos.
