He was the legitimate son of Don Dionisio Falero y Machín and of Doña Juana Machín y Flores. She was the legitimate daughter of Don "Jose la O Sánchez without another name" and Doña Marta Velez y Escobar. NOTE: The marriage record indicates Bienvida's last name is Sánchez and that her father has only one name or the Registrar only knows of one name. Later records show her last name as Martínez. This is possibly her father's "other" name and he should be called Martínez y Sánchez.
