Note: As you will notice I use the name Maudy or Gran Maudy throughout the tree. Maudy is a nickname her sons gave her. The name stuck, family and
close friends starting calling her Maudy. All the grandchildren called

Virginia "Gene" King
JANESVILLE - Former E.F. Johnson Co. employee Virginia "Gene" King, 82, of Janesville died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at Janesville Nursing Home.
Services are 10 .am. Friday at Janesville United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Pudil officiating.
Visitation is 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville with 7 P.M. prayer service. Visitation continues one hour
before services Friday at the church.
Mrs. King was born July 15, 1918, to Elmer and Alice (Erickson) Westerberg at Stockholm, Wisconsin. She graduated from Red Wing High
School. She married Kenneth King Jan. 6, 1945, at Spring Valley. They
moved to Janesville in 1947. She was employed at restaurants in the
Janesville area and at E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca for 20 years.
Mrs. King is survived by three sons and their wives, James and Barb of Waseca, Jerry and Kathy of Janesville, and Roger and Deb of Elysian;
10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Raymond
Westerberg, of Red WIng; one sister, Audrey Kraft, of Dexter.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three sisters. The date of marriage is incorrect: Kenneth and Virginia were married Jan.
