From the Bremerton, Washington SUN newspaper, Tuesday, June 29, 1971: WILLIAM FISH Funeral services for William H. Fish, 62, Rte. 1, Box 1805-A, will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. Mr. Fish died Sunday at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born April 6, 1909, in Bear Creek, Mont., to Mr. and Mrs. Moses Fish. He came to Auburn (King County, Washington) in the 1930s where he married the former Ruby Ramsey on June 27, 1931. Mr. Fish came to Bremerton (Kitsap County, Washington) six years ago. Mr. Fish was an avid hunter, fisherman, and bowler. He was preceded in death by a son, William M. Fish, who died June 30, 1962. He is survived by his wife, Ruby, of the family home; one son, James H. Fish, Bremerton; one daughter, Mrs. Rodney (Audrey) Isaacson, Port Orchard; a brother, Raymond J. Fish, Ketchikan, Alaska; two sisters, Mrs. Isabella Lindsey, Port Orchard, and Mrs. G. (Melva) Broerman, of Escondido, Calif; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Rev. Arnold Wall of the Navy Yard City Bible Church is scheduled to officiate at the services. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park (Bremerton).[
