Note: [Allison2.GED] ======================================================= MRS. FRANK A. ALLISON DIES OF PNEUMONIA Succumbs After Illness of Four Days Mrs. Helen B. Allison, wife of Engineer Frank A. Allison of the Mobile & Ohio, died at 12:30 O�clock Saturday noon Following an illness of four days. Pneumonia caused death. Mrs. Allison became ill last Thanksgiving and had not fully recovered, though she did improve to an extend which permitted her to take exercise. Last Tuesday forenoon she became ill of pneumonia and, weakened by the other siege of sickness, she succumbed at noon Saturday. Born in England, January 31, 1869, she came to America while a child and was reared in McKeesport, Pa., where she became acquainted with Frank A. Allison. They were married at Gettysburg, S. D., December 15, 1890. Mr. Allison was then a locomotive engineer on the Mobile & Ohio railroad and had a home at 226 North Fifteenth street to which they came immediately after their marriage and where they have lived ever since. During the 34 years she has been a resident of Murphysboro, Mrs. Allison has made a friend of every acquaintance [one line is blurred] she has earned the highest esteem of all. Her religious affiliations were with the Protestant Episcopal denomination of which she was a devout and faithful member. Mr. and Mrs. Allison have no children. She has three brothers and one sister, two in Oregon and two in South Dakota. The funeral took place Monday afternoon, March 3. Rev. Wm. A. Hartung, pastor of the First Christian church, conducted the funeral services at the Allison home, 226 North Fifteen Street, at 2 O�clock. The body was buried in Tower Grove cemetery. Monday, March 3, 1924] ======================================================== Last Will and Testament - dated 7 April 1910 IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Bessie Helen Beatrice Allison, of the City of Murphysboro, in the County of Jackson and State of Illinois, being of sound mind and memory, and realizing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, do make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all other wills by me heretofore executed. First -- It is my will and desire that my funeral expenses and all my just debts shall be fully paid. Second -- I hereby give, devise and bequeath to my beloved husband, Frank A. Allison, all of my estate, real and personal and mixed, of every kind and character and wherever the same may be situation, whether owned by me now or acquired by me here- after, to be his sole and absolute property forever. Lastly - I hereby nominate and appoint my said husband, Frank A. Allison, to be the executor of this my Last Will and Testament, and it is my desire and wish that he be allowed to act as such executer without bond or other security. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 7th day of April, A. D. 1910. "The Southeast quarter of Section Fourteen (14) in Township One Hundred Sixteen (116) North of Range Seventy-Four (74) west of the Fifth P. M. containing 160 acres more or less, situation in the County of Sully and State of South Dakota Value = $1,600.00. I do certify that the foregoing is a full and correct inventory of all the Real and Personal Estate or the proceeds of the same, which was of Bessie Hellen Beatrice Allison, deceased which has been committed to my superintendence and management, or which has come to my hands, possession or knowledge, and that the Names and Accounts above described are in quality as above indicated.
