Note: NOTE: Martha was born Feb 19, 1902 to Benjamin Franklin and Pearl Clementine Sparger. Martha lived with her parents in Clarks Hill, Indiana until the age of her first marriage (29 Apr 1916 in Tippecanoe Co, Indiana) to Lewis (Louis) Albert Kerfoot of Hardin Co, Kentucky. Martha was only 14 when she married Lewis. All of Lewis and Martha's children were born in West Point, Indiana. After Lewis death in 1938, Martha married Lonnie Brown and had 2 more children. They married 08 Sep 1941 in Tippecanoe Co, Indiana. Martha passed away in October 1982. I do not recall grandmother Brown but my father does and he is writing me a journal of what he remembers.
