a. Note:   Came to Barnstable, MA with his twin sister Mary 27 Feb 1648. Came to Piscataway, NJ with his parents. He took up land in 1683, eventually becoming a large landowner. His home farm consisted of 28 acres in Piscataway with additional large lots of upland and meadow. Served as the Town Clerk in 1686, 1688 thru 1705, and 1709. He was Assessor in 1688, 1689, 1693, 1711 and 1712. He was Justice of the Peace from 1703 to 1711, with the title of "Esquire". His Will was dated 4 Dec 1724 and proved 11 Feb 1725. It called him Yeoman of Piscataway. Buried in the Smalley Family Buriel Plot, Piscataway, Middlesex, NJ. Isaac and first wife Esther cared for his aged parents until their deaths.
