 HAY, Adrian
 1924-2008
  Adrian Hay, 83, of Astor, Fla., formerly of Springfield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial in Ormond Beach, Fla. He was born March 1, 1924, at Mazie, the son of the late Martin and Georgianna Fannin Hay. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Leola Evans, Clotine Blankenship and Ileana Blackford. Adrian was a retired machinist and programmer with the Elliott Co. in Springfield. He was a World War II Navy veteran who served on the USS Haas Destroyer Escort. He was a very active member of the DES Association. Adrian is survived by his wife, Jacklyn Phillips Hay; five children, Leona Hay of Cincinnati, Gregory and wife Christine Hay of Springfield, Anthony and wife Debbie Hay of Springfield, Steven Hay of Cincinnati and Myra and husband David Stachler of Franklin; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters Robert Graden Hay of Sebring, Fla., Gerland Hay of Columbus, Carson Hay of Ashland, Reda Wright of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Glenora Hilton of Hernado, Fla., Agnes Ross of Columbus, John Frank Hay of Louisa and Carol Barker of Louisa. The funeral will be at noon Sunday at Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook by Brother Emmitt Barker.
 Burial will be in Elliott County Memory Gardens, with military graveside rites by Elliott County VFW 11428. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
