  CADIZ RECORD MRS FAUGHN PASSES AWAY Funeral Services Held Wednesday at Goodwin's
  Mrs. Annie Faughn, age 85, died Monday, September 18 at 9:15 a.m. at Trigg County Hospital where she was admitted a patient only the day before. She had been in failing health for the past several years.
  Mrs. Faughn was born October 10, 1875 near Lamasco in Lyon County and was a daughter of the late John D. and Mildred Litchfield Faughn. Her husband, James Benjamin Faughn preceded her in death in 1951.
  She was a member of Hurricane Baptist Church.
  Funeral srevices were conducted at Goodwin Funeral Home Wednesday, September 20, at 2 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Jackie Geurin officiating. The Rev. Wade Cunningham assisted Mrs. Paul Perdue. Dr. Robert Niles and Mrs Hilda Bentley organist was in charge of music.
  Burial was in the Curling Cemetery in the Bethesda community.
  She is survived by three sons, Adolphus Faughn, Zan Faughn and Alfred Faughn, all of Trigg county; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Morris and Mrs. Eliza Malone, both of Princeton; Mrs. Thomas Freeman, Evansville, Ind; and Mrs. Loyd Allen of Cadiz, a sister, Mrs Josie Sills, Paducah; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
  Pallbearers were Richard Hawkins, James Gray, Ted Futrell, Ralph Tooke, Lawrence Tooke, and Gene Tyler.
