Note: Death come to Mrs. Alpha Lou Faughn Cain at her home in Evansville Sunday morning at 6:30 o'clock following a lingering illness from cancer. Even though she had been in poor health for several months it was not until five weeks ago that she became critical. The daughter of the late J. Ben Faughn and Mrs. Annie Faughn of Trigg County she was born September 19, 1908 in Siloam community of this county. She spent most of her life in that community. In 1926 she was married to Lewis Cain who survives to this union two sons were born, Luther Cain of Evansvlle, In and Robt D Cain who is serving with the US Air Corps and stationed at Walter Field Tex. Mrs Cain professed faith in Christ and united with the Siloam ME Church some 25 years ago. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Marriage Bond of Omer Louis and Alpha Lou 13 December 1925, Trigg Co Kentucky, lists Fetus Cain as Surety for bond. Wintesses W.T. Tooke and Alpha Sanders. Married by Luther Sanders minister of the Missionary Baptist Church.
