Notes
a. Note:   The Bible of Laborn Beckcom lists Sarah Caroline Lewis as Laura but thefamily states it was Sarah. A STORY ABOUT WILLIAM F FAULK William F Faulk was a teacher and a farmer. He was five feet tall, slender, with black hair and blue eyes. Sarah Caroline Lewis Faulk wasfour feet five inches tall, medium wweight, with dark red haair and browneyes. When William became of age, according to Ruth Yeary, Mark Faulk ofTwiggs Co Georgia gave William his share of John Faulk's estate andWilliam moved to Barbour Co. Alabama. William and family lived in BarbourCounty until he sold sold their quarter section of land three miles westof St Andrews for $400 on 3 Mar 1849. The family went from Mobile Alabama by ship to New Orleans and bysteamboat to Camden Arkansas. They then went overland to what is nowMagnolia Township, Columbia Co. Arkansas. It is reported thatoccasionally William would come hone intoxicated. He would take off hisshirt and throw it into the fire. Since his wife undoubtably made theshirts you can assume she was not amused. CBS likes this report becauseit shows we haven't changed much and our ancestors did have problems.
