Note: Mary shows up in the 1850 Federal Census of Franklin Co., Indiana. She is living in the house of Frederick Bachner, a preacher. Her brother Frederick Jr. is living there too. The age for Mary is hard to make out. It looks like 30, but that would make her older then her brother Michael born in 1822-3. My guess is that she is 20, which would put her year of birth at around 1830.
On April 26, 1853, Mary unites in marriage to John Blomer in Franklin Co., Indiana
In 1860, Mary is living in Wabash Co., Indiana, Pleasant township. Her age is 32, born in Wurtemburg. Her occupation is hard to make out from the census record. It could be a Steno-rapher (Stenographer-Secretery) or it might be a Store Keeper. Her personal estate is listed as $100. A child, John Bloomer, is listed as age 2 born in Indiana. Census taken on the 23rd of June.
A marriage is listed in the LDS Individual records for Mary E. Batzner or Bloomer to Charles Hill, Feburary 9, 1861 in Kosciusko Co., Indiana.
In 1870, Mary is living in Clay Township, Kosciusko Co., Indiana with Charles. Date of the census is July 11. Hill, Charles. age 61, Occupation: Farmer. Real Estate: 1600. Personal Estate: 300. Born in Pennsylvania Mary E., age 41, Keeping house, born in Witemburg. William, age 17, Farm Laborer born in Indiana-- I imagine William is Mary's step son since his birth year is around 1853.
