a. Note:   Orville served as an enlisted man in the U.S. Army during WWI, having enlisted in Nashua, IA on December 1, 1918. One of his final duty locations was Camp Dodge, IA where he was honorably discharged on April 22, 1919. He noted on his enlistment that his occupation at the time of his enlistment was as a farmer. After his time in the military he eventual completed Barber school and was a barber for the balance of his life until he retired and moved to Youngstown, AZ from Minneapolis, MN due to his Asthma condition. Lue and Orville bought the first house in the new development known as Youngstown.
