 James E. Fentress, 36, Buried at Cherry Hill
 Gary, Ind. - James Elgin Fentress, 36, formerly of Central City, died at his home in Gary, Ind. Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 7:30 a.m. following a lingering illness. He was born April 2, 1920 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was employed at Inland Steel Co. in Hammond, Ind. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. in Central City with the Rev. C.W. Devine, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery.
  Survivors are wife, Mrs. Anna Laura Fentress; two sons, Michael and Robert Earl; daughter, Sandra Kaye, of Gary; father, Henry Fentress of Central City; six sisters, Mrs. Helen Swann and Mrs. George Helsley of Central City, Mrs. Virgil Brown of Jasonville, Ind., Mrs. Marion Mitchell and Mrs. William Farber of Evansville, Mrs. Carl Wood of Owensboro.
