Obituary: Pauline Salamon
KINGSPORT - Pauline Salamon, 86, went to be with the Lord Monday (Sept. 30, 2002) after a lengthy illness.
Pauline was born Aug. 28, 1916 in Greeneville and was the daughter of the late John and Ernie Hensley Brown. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church.
Pauline was predeceased by her husbands, David Salaman and Hap Soyars; and son, Roger Soloman.
Surviving are her daughter, Freda Fleenor, of the home; grandchildren, David Fleenor, Cynthia Fleenor/Shelton, Jeffrey Fleenor, Rev. Mark Fleenor and Tina Soloman Hutchinson; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters in Greene County; and four brothers.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at East Lawn Funeral Home, and anytime at the home of the daughter.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Charlie Dye officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads United Methodist Church, 200 Bays Cove Trail, Kingsport, Tenn. 37660.
