A record on the IGI on LDS FamilySearch submitted by a member of the LDS church says he was born July 1857 in Greene Co., TN and married Ellen Ella Murdock in 1882 in Greene Co., TN. She is listed as born in June 1864 in North Carolina. Another record submitte by a member of the LDS church lists their marriage as about 1883 in Tennessee.
