Peter died in the Civil War leaving a widow and 3 children. After Peters' death, his wife, Mary remarried and moved to Smith County, MS. and remained there until her death.Peters' son, P.W. (George) Kilgore was my G-Grandfather. One of his daughters, Annie, married my grandfather, Preston Garner.
