Elders Yancy Jordan and Walter Heard, of thePrimitive Baptist Church will officiate.
  She was the widow of Needham Franklin Johnson and is survived by fivesons, R.A. Johnson (Raymond), and Otis Johnson of Macon, RichardFranklin Johnson of Tifton, Edgar Morris Johnson of Byron, Wesley M.Johnson of Wellston. Two sisters Mrs A. Hudson of Crawford County andMrs Sarah Ann Bryant of Wrightsville and a brother Phillip AndrewHatfield of Baldwin, also survive. The deceased was a native ofCrawford County. She was stricken with pneumonia a few days ago anddied Saturday after physicians had made heroic efforts to save herlife. "
  My cousin, Sandra Filetti Riner, told me that she remembered hearingstories of the unusual and heavy rains which made the roads almostimpassable and the men taking the body to the cemetery had to get downand push the wagon across swollen creeks and muddy banks.
