Note: She was born in Morrisville, Pa. and raised in Mercerville, New Jersey. Went to Hamilton Hight School and then to Rider College. Worked for C.V. Hills in Trenton, N.J. Lived her married life at 42 Madison Avenue, Trenton, N.J. After her husband Henry passsed away in 1997 she moved to Roaring Branch, Pa. with her daughter Gale and her son-in-law Robert LaRochelle. In 1918 Mom was born in Morrisville, Pa. She lived on Delmar Street. Her father was delivering milk and going to Rider College. In 1919 they moved to Sandy Run, Pa. and her father was then working for Thropp Machine Shop. Her sisters Elsie and Dorothy were born. 1920 they moved to Yardley, Pa. near the railroad or trolley because she can remember gettin on the train and going north. In 1923 she moved to Washington Crossing on a farm. Her sister Ethel was born. Then they moved to Mercer Street in Mercerville, NJ which is Getz Avenue now. Antoinette started elementry school at Mercerville Grammer School. 1936 she graduated from Hamilton High School on Broad St., Trenton, NJ She met Henry in 1939. Married in 1940 and lived on Mercer St. then 42 Madison Ave, Trenton, NJ. During the years at Madison Avenue, my Grandmother Roberts, Jeske, and Aunt Evelyn, Uncle Edward and Uncle Alvin all lived with my parents.Alvin was in an accident and was in the small upstairs bedroom and I was told that he used to play his ukale and sing me to sleep for my naps.
