 CHROMIE, Joseph - Of Burton, age 79, died Saturday, April 11, 1992 at the residence. Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday, April 14, 1992 at Christian Apostolic Church, G6350 Fenton Rd, Rev. David A. Spooner officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring, may make contributions to Bay Valley Hospice. Visitation from 10am to 9pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W Hill Rd. Mr Chromie will be at the funeral home until 11 am Tuesday, at which time he will be taken to the church for the service. Mr. Chromie was born in Chicago, Illinois, March 29, 1913. He wasa resident of the Flint area most of his life. He married Ivy Ackley, November 14 1942 in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was a member of Christian Apostolic Church. Surviving are: wife, Ivy; 2 daughters, Sharon and husband Tommy Johnston of Hungry Horse, Montana, Pat and husband Pete Velasquez of Flint; 6 grandchildren, Chuck and wife Karen Johnston, Shari and husband Jerry Priddy, Shelly and Serena Johnston, Amanda and Chano Velasquez; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters; many nieces and nephews.
