Note:   "Asa" was misspelled by George in his Bible, leading Rosella and his granddaughter to spell it "Asia."1900 census household is George A, John C, Curtis M, Rosella S1910 shows George, Mary E, John C, and Rosella. Curtis would have been 22 years old and in Columbus, OH where he met Grace that year.According to recently located family documents, George and his family were most likely members of the Methodist Episcopal Church, to become members of the Southern Methodist Episcopal church when it "seceded" in (?) to become members of the Methodist Episcopal church again when the breach was healed in (?). George kept several newspaper clippings and a membership receipt for the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church in Corning from shortly before his death.Enos Rose was obviously important to George as evidenced by George's keeping Enos' obituary and funeral card in his Bible. Enos was United Brethern, also a sect that broke away from the Methodist Episcopal Church.
