John Gibson and his famous brother, George Gibson, captain of 'Gibson's Lambs', and Colonel of the Ninth Virginia Regiment during the Revolutionary War. This George was the father of Maj.-Gen George Gibson, Commissary-general U.S. Army for thirty years, and also father of the Hon. John Bannister Gibson, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of PA."
