Harry Isaac Merritt, 80 of Lowell, Rt. 2 died in Selby General Hospital yesterday evening.
He was born Oct 28, 1892 in Jackson twp,Noble county, a son of the late Isaac and Emma Mincks Merritt.
He was married July 22, 1922 to Carrie Hall, who survives with two daugthers, Mrs Lou (Harriett) McAtee, Columbus, and Mrs. Willard (Margaret) Ball, Massillon.
Mr. Merritt was a 50-year member of Jackson twp, Grange No. 407 and was a member of Haines Brethren Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Peoples Funeral Home,Lowell with the Rev. Stillwagon officiating. Burial will be in Mary Reed Memorial Methodist Cemetery, Crooked Tree. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. tomorrow.
