a. Note:   OBITUARY: Obit poss from Osceola County Herald "Frank Lincoln, 85, of Route 1, LeRoy died Thursday, May 6 in the Reed City Hospital. He had been ill for several years.
 Mr. Lincoln was born Jan. 7, 1886 in Lincoln Township of Osceola County, the son of Charles Lincoln and Anna Jane Sinclair.
 He attended school in Ashton where he spent his entire life. He was married Jan. 6, 1906, at Reed City to Agnes Halladay who preceded him in death Jan. 20, 1969.
 Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Florence Walsh of LeRoy and Mrs. Harold (Marian) Kage of Fremont; five sons, Preston and Argyle of Greenville, Ward of Route 1, LeRoy; Marvin of St. Paul, Minn., and Dr. Norman Lincoln of Reed City.
 He is also survived by two brothers, Glenn of Evart and Harold of Coldwater, and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Frantz of LeRoy, Mrs. Lydia VanDragt of Wyoming, and Mrs. Elsie Crippen of Lansing.
 He has 14 grandchildren and numerous . . . . He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert, Bert, and Fred. Mr. Lincoln was engaged in farming. He was a member of the Central Methodist Church of Ashton.
 The funeral was at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 10 at the McDowell Funeral Home in Reed City with the Rev. David Dryer officiating. Burial was in Ashton Cem."
