Note: OBITUARY: From: Cadillac News, 29 Nov 2005 "REED CITY - Eva R. Halladay of Reed City died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005 at Spectrum Health-Reed City Campus. She was 102. She was born on July 22, 1903 in Lincoln Township and lived her entire life in the Ashton-Reed City area. On March 2, 1922 she married Austin Halladay. Mrs. Halladay loved to read, paint, crochet, dance and do crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Ashton United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Jimmy (Carol) of LeRoy; daughter, Florence Holcomb of Florida; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 49 great-great-grandchildren; eight great-great-great-grandchildren; sister, Elsie Miller of Columbus, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin in 1992; daughters, Eleanor and Marilyn; two great- grandchildren; five brothers; and two sisters. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Pruitt-Livingston Funeral Home, Reed City, with Rev. Jodie Flessner officiating. Burial will be in the Ashton Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
