 1795: Franklin Co. KY tax records show Robert owning 15 acres in "Elkhorn", with 1 horse & 6 cattle, 1 white male above 25 years living in the household, no white males between 10 & 21, and 1 black under 10 years of age.
 1803: Location of now 100 acre farm was in "West Elkhorn".
 1805: Tax record showed 100 acre farm in "North Elkhorn".
 1829 Probate: Mentioned Catherine Brydon, granddaughter, in will. Unknown parents, but she married James Roberson.

 This couple were in Woodford Co., KY 1794, and living in Elkhorn in 1810, and had a family of ten. Robert Brydon's will, Franklin County, 1827, mentions his wife Mary, a "graddaughter of Katerine", and the above children.
