Note: FHL 1976922 lists his death at age 66, birth in Salem County, New Jersey, and death from typhoid pneumonia. His residence was listed as Ackley Street below Germantown Avenue. Also states that he resided in Philadelphia most of his life. This LDS microfilm of death records in Philadelphia is a copy of original records in the Philadelphia City Archives. Oddfellows Cemetery records on microfilm at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania Library on Locust Street in Philly list his burial in plot 2597, which he purchased with deed 965 dated Sept 15, 1849. Oddfellows Cemetery in Philadelphia has been relocated from its original location downtown, and their plot was removed to Lawnview Diamond Project, Susquehanna Lawn section 4, graves 8 in July 1951. Also buried in this plot are his wife Catharine, his son John's first wife Ann, and nine children from multiple generations in the Hackett family, which makes it possible to connect these generations through death records on microfilm at LDS Family History Centers. One child was Isaac W Hackett who died in 1899 at the age of 10 years. He was the son of Isaac and Ella Hackett at 708 E Clearfield (FHL 1011828), which provides a definite link between this John H Hackett and later generations in this Hackett ancestry. Microfilm XR 499:6 for cemetery returns at the library of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia lists his doctor as S R Morris.
