Note: Isaac W Hackett was buried in his father's plot at South Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia in Lot 352 of Section Sixteen. Laurel Hill Cemetery is a National Historic Landmark in Philadelphia. Death Notice in the Philadelphia Public Ledger: "Hackett -- On February 1, 1909, Isaac W., husband of Ella Mays Hackett, In his 55th year. Relatives and friends, Franklin Circle No. 13, B. of A. of Pa., and the employees of Baeder & Adamson Glue Works, are invited to attend the funeral services on Sunday at 1:30 pm at his late residence , 3064 Potter st. Internment private at South Laurel Hill Cemetery." We copied this death notice from microfilm at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania Library in Philadelphia in September, 2004. We also copied cemetery records from microfilm at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania Library in Philadelphia in April, 2004; and we visited Laurel Hill Cemetery in September, 2004 where the very helpful staff copied cemetery records stored in their vault for us. We also have a copy of his death record from microfilm at the Philadelphia City Archives listing his date of birth, his father John Hackett, and his residence. The marriage in 1874 was performed by the Rev C W Bickley at the Summerfield Methodist Church in Philadelphia which was located on Dauphin above Tulip. This information from the original church records on microfilm XCh 718 at the library of the Historical Society of Pennsylvnia on Locust Street in Philadelphia. Also listed in class records for Jan 29, 1871: Isaac Hackett 'dropped'. We have a photo of The Lester on Missouri Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey with a business card stating I W Hackett & son proprietor. The Lester was a small hotel, and the photo was dated prior to 1900.
