 ASHLAND, Sept. 2, -- Willard T. Pauly, 77, died at 9:30 o'clock last night at his home here after several years illness. He was the son of Henry Price and Nancy Eligh Bennett Pauley. He married the former E. Ruth Martin on Oct. 26, 1910.
  Pauley was an electrical contractor before retiring about 10 years. ago.
  Survivors include his widow; four daughters, Mrs. C. L. Griffin and Mrs. Arthur Hackmann, both of Ashland, Mrs. Marvin Jones, Laddonia, and Mrs. Lowell McCuskey of Linn; five sons, Marvin Pauley of Columbia, Wilbur Pauley of Mexico, Robert Pauley of Waynesville, Horace Pauley of Goliath, Calif., and Henry Pauley of Beltsville, Md.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Burnett Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wallace Johnson will officiate.
  Pallbearers will be O. C. Nichols, Lindel Estes, Lloyd Wilson, Alex Moreau, Paul Burne, and Hulen Hagens.
  Burial will be in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery."

 Story ran on Wednesday, July 05 2000Arthur Henry Hackmann Jr., 75, of Ashland, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at his home.
 Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at Robinson Funeral Home in Ashland with the Rev. Bryan Crousore officiating. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery in Hartsburg. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, at the funeral home.
 Mr. Hackmann was born Oct. 30, 1924, in Jefferson City to Arthur Henry Hackmann Sr. and Nora Ackman Hackmann.
 He married Violet Pauley on March 20, 1949, in Columbia and she survives.
 Mr. Hackmann was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Hartsburg and the American Legion Post No. 424 in Hartsburg.
 He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Columbia.
 Other survivors include a son, Bruce Hackmann of Ashland; three daughters, Cindy Glascock of Hartsburg, and Linda Winfrey and Terri Craig, both of Ashland; a brother, Norlan Hackman; and nine grandchildren.
 Memorials are suggested to Peace United Church of Christ in Hartsburg."

 He worked as a member service adviser at Boone Electric for 37 years. He was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ, Hartsburg, the American Legion Post 424, Hartsburg, and the VFW, Columbia.
 Other survivors include: one son, Bruce Hackmann, Ashland; three daughters, Cindy Glascock, Hartsburg, and Linda Winfrey and Terri Craig, both of Ashland; one brother, Norlan Hackman; and nine grandchildren.
