Note: Alton Perry Waite and his wife lived along Rock River about 3 miles north of Oregon just south of the Judson Waite Farm. After Alton's death, Anna moved west of highway about 2 miles near a creek where she died. The 3 boys were under 9 years of age. They were raised by their Aunt's and Uncle's families. A.J. (Larry's Grandfather) went with the Moats and Lehmans. Later he worked for Elmer Cline east of Dixon. He met and married Minnie Belle Gilbert in 1909 and went to Earlimart, California to live. Frank Waite lived in Wisconsin with the Timmermans and Galen went to live with Greenwalts (Greenawalt) in Wisconsin and later with the Mossholders in Dixon. In 1911 both boys went to California and worked in the canneries. Later they both married. Galen went to Los Angeles and worked for American Can Co until his death. Frank went to Hemet, California and worked for Standard Oil until he retired, moving to Monterey Park, California near Los Angeles.
