Note: Mary Herring was listed as the head of household along with her younger children in the 1870 census. The Information was extracted from the 1860 Livingston County Missouri Cenus records. They were the 14th household enumerated on the 25th of July 1870 at the Spring Hill Post Office Jackson Township. M593 R789.
Sarah was listed in the Obituary of her brother George Washington Herring as Mrs Sarah Parkey. I have a marriage record for a Sarah Herring and a Peter Parkey. I have also found them on the census records. Will follow up on this information.
